iTERO 3D SCANNER
The days of messy uncomfortable impressions are over. At BCO, we’re thrilled to offer our patients the iTero Element Impressionless Scanner that delivers twice the detail in half the time. So, how does it work? It uses digital imaging to capture the shape of a patient’s teeth and gums. We use this technology to take oral impressions for braces, LightForce 3D printed braces, clear aligners, appliances and retainers.
Planmeca CBCT Ultra Low Dose Radiation Technology
Our unique Planmeca Ultra Low Dose™ imaging protocol is the world’s leading method for acquiring CBCT images at low effective patient doses. It allows Dr. Welsh to gather more information than from standard 2D panoramic images at an equivalent or even lower patient dose without a statistical reduction in image quality – as proven in various scientific studies. So, we take one 3D x-ray instead of taking three individual x-rays!
This 3D technology also allows Dr. Welsh to be able to assess things like erupting teeth patterns and bone levels to properly recommend treatment options with 100% accuracy. We use this unit with state-of-the-art software applications to give our patients the best care imaginable.
